If I purchase a membership from Groupon in my mother's name, will she have to go into Sam's Club herself to activate the membership? Reason I ask, I (her son) got a discounted membership that just expired directly from Sam's. I was not required to go to customer service desk to utilize the membership I purchased directly from Sam's. Is there any difference if purchased from Groupon? I realize I need to use a different name, address, credit card number, and telephone.
I bought a membership and bought some Airbnb gift cards since they are slightly discounted. My order and membership immediately got cancelled. I don't trust Sam's Club of they can just take my money and cancel for no reason. Groupon isn't going to refund me for that.
Good deal. Just used this today $20 total. Paid $14 for the same thing last year. Used "new info" and relay emails to qualify as a "new member". At my Sam's, if you order a single slice of pizza and pay ($2) then ask for a cup after...they'll give it to you every time.

Can I still use the same credit card if I use "new Info" and emails?
meh, bring back the $15 membershipsAlso, sams club is switching completely over to scan and go, no more checkout lanes (not even self checkout)https://www.msn.com/en-us/technol...r-AA1D6U8K
I love Scan and Go. It's the primary reason I prefer Sam's to Costco. But it will be interesting to see how it rolls out. I'd say 90% are still using the standard checkout lines in my area.
I had the plus because there is a sams club about an hour away that I would occasionally go to. But if I needed something I would just have it shipped for.free until they started charging 8 dollars for shipping so I cancelled
Seems like voucher expires sep 30, does it mean I can buy now and redeem later?
That's what I'm thinking.
"Expiration varies. Amount paid never expires. Promotional value expires September 30, 2025. Amount paid never expires. Voucher must be redeemed by September 30, 2025. Your one-year membership period will begin immediately upon redemption."

No, she doesn't. You can just use the app and can use the soft copy of the card there or do the scan and go

I like the scan and go. Its easy. They still push to cash register if you are buying a gift card.
I'm with you, I'd rather scan the stuff myself than wait thirty mins in line
