They are spiritual sequels/successors to SotN. Excellent games.

I prefer Switch for old games like this. Perfect for handheld IMO. Not demanding performance wise and likely to not see a difference on PC

For anyone using that code, check browse for any other titles you might want to purchase at the same time, the code is one time use per account (and may have a ceiling)

I bought several titles when I used it and still regret missing out on several lows for games (might have to make a second account to take advantage)

One important thing to know: Some of the Switch game requires the use of the touchscreen, so you might not be able to play it docked.

Edit: It does say TV mode compatible, but the game itself tells you it requires the touchscreen. There's a cursor that can show up, so maybe that's the way it'll work.

I've beaten Dawn of Souls and it was excellent. When playing docked, or handheld, they have updated the game so that you can use button presses for the insignias that need to be drawn. There is one other part of the game, pretty short, where you need to break ice blocks and drag your cursor. For that you can click one of the triggers and use the joystick. Otherwise, at least Dawn of Souls, is not a very heavy touch screen game. But I can confirm no part of the game *needs* touchscreen and functions just fine with the controls built in
