I've used this lens quite a bit. I can recommend it at this price. Bought it for slightly less a year ago but that was used.
Only gripe is the obvious one of the F4. I shoot mostly with prime lenses, but for outdoor shots in the daytime, this thing is great. I especially like it for video. It's not too big and can work on a gimbal with ease.
Not as good as my primes for picture quality, but way more flexible. I shoot outdoor events with this zoom more than my primes.

Is this thing heave for travel? I use tamoron 17-24 most of the time for the light weight. Thanks!
