Two day only sale and the new Southwest policy won't take effect until flights on May 28th. You still have time to get the 2 free checked bags. A good time to use any Southwest gift cards and/or Rapid Rewards points if you are choosing to ditch them because of their new policy.

Not to mention, the prices are much more than they were even last year - a couple months ago.
Now they're changing all these policies as well? Kind of blows for people that invested in southwest miles credit cards for many years like me, and everything flips in a matter of months.
I don't see why they're not listening to the public on all this, but like many others have said, I'll exhaust my miles and never fly them again.
they may end up making a bit more money for the shareholders in the short term but I feel like there's a movement against this, and factoring in that fewer people will be applying for and using the miles cards, I don't think this is going to end up well for them.
