This seems like an incredible deal with the added soundbar and mount at comes included. Am I missing anything? I was looking at the C4 deal but am now considering pulling the trigger on this and adding the 3 year warranty. My net total would be $2,835 including warranty, shipping/sales tax, and net of my BoA Customized Cash Rewards 5.25% cash back discount.

I have been researching how to flush mount this to the wall. So far I have also ordered legrand recessed 9 inch media enclosure and power outlet relocation kit. LG recommends the cords come out of the left of the TV if you are ordering 77 inch and above otherwise they channel out through the center.
This thread/picture is what I used a few months ago for the 77G4 and it worked out perfectly:

https://www.reddit.com/r/LGOLED/c.../#lightbox

I used the Legrand 9" also, without the faceplate surround so it would be flush with the drywall.

Mine came with the SG10TY, and I was planning to connect it wirelessly with WOWCAST but I found there were constant hiccups/drops even just playing YouTube music, so I ended up just fishing an HDMI cable down through the Legrand and the wall for eARC.

This TV is incredible. I just watched The Thing (1982) tonight on 4k UHD and I'm sure my mouth was open in amazement for most of the movie.

I was in the same boat, was going to get the C4. But after adding a decent sound bar and wall mount, the price of the C4 would have came pretty close to this deal. Ended up pulling the trigger on this G4 deal

I have been watching the G4 77" for a few weeks as I piece together my home theater and was waiting for a good deal like this now that the G5 is out and places begin clearing stock. I plan to sell the soundbar so that should be a small bonus on top.

I went with this over the C4 just to get a little more future proofing with more capable hardware, the brighter MLA oled, and better performance/brightness for gaming. I also debated against the Samsung S95D but most reviews said that LG and Dolby support are better. I've had a 65" LG C8 since 2019 and haven't had any issues with it.

What is the supplied wall mount? I can't seem to find the specific model or reference to it. Pulled the trigger after having an OLED from 2016. I wonder what the delta will be when I see it.

It looks like the power cord originates a few inches from the bottom edge at the midline. So it's better to run the cord through the tunnel to the left side (as if you are watching TV) and put your recessed media box there rather than at the bottom midline?

This is the mount that's included: https://www.lg.com/us/tv-home-the...wall-mount

I've heard from others that it's the same mount from the past few years and is compatible with some earlier models but maybe not that far back.

For flush mount, one would require no wires between tv and wall, All wires have to be recessed in the TV channel and/or enclosure behind the TV. The enclosure should be deep enough to place the extra length of TV power cord along with hdmi 2.1 cables. So one would need plenty of recessed room behind the TV. Also if the lip for enclosure is too thick it will push the Tv forward from the wall. Legrand trim plate is optional and 9inch box should suffice. I am planning to use the enclosure without its trim plate.
The power cord that comes attached with the TV is not rated for behind the wall. Hence one would plug the TV power cord to a power supply in the recessed box. I dont have a power supply at The location where my recessed Legrand box will be installed , so I will source power from a nearest power source using DIY relocation kit. The Legrand power relocation kit comes with top and bottom enclosures. I will be discarding the top enclosures since I am already using the legrand box, but will use the power supply, the wiring and the bottom pass throughs from the relocation kit. It is expensive buying an eclosure and also the kit total 150$ but I have received quotes of 800-1000$ to get this work done by pros.
The recessed wider areas at the back of this TV are at different locations for 65 inch (at center) and on the left (left if you are watching the TV from front) for 77 inch or greater.
If you are ordering 65inch or less you can use this video which shows centered media enclosure https://youtu.be/mI3Q4BNIJvM. if you are 77 inch or greater one would locate this box towards the bottom right back of the TV where HDMI cables come out same as left bottom when you watching the TV from front. I hope this helps. Took a lot of time to figure this out.

depends on how far you want to drive or live near a best buy that has open box good: 2788 and open box fair: 2633. I know there are several available around the Tennessee and Lexington KY area. YMMV

Is this noticeably better than the C4?

It's most noticeable in a bright room, but in normal use, especially at night, they're not that different. Brightness is pretty much the main difference. Processing is slightly better. HDR pops a tiny bit more. If money is tight get the C4. If it's a bright room often and/or u want a super flush wall mount get the G4.

Gimme another 83" G4, this time for $3200ish, and I'll pull the trigger. The 83" G5 for $4200 will be available in a month or two.

Very helpful again. The video was helpful too. Thank you!
Is this the enclosure kit that you used?

https://www.legrand.us/audio-visu...r4i78C_LCO

Do you think that the Legrand is superior to other brands or does it have some features that others don't have?

And this is the power relocation kit?
