I have the green one. Price tracking on Amazon will show you it's this price fairly often. It's small in form, has a good battery life so far, and I prefer to use this for my daily shave even though it's weaker than my previous Arc3. Because it's weaker, it's less likely to irritate my skin. However, it pulls if I let my hair grow for a week. Keep in mind this is NOT lithium ion. So I'm not sure how this will last in the long run.

There is a similar design model that has lithium ion, but it's quite a bit more pricey. It's called the MultiShape and it has the flexibility of using it for other functions by detachable heads. I would caution you not to buy that one as a primary shaver. It's much weaker than than the one in this post, and the weakness carries through all its various uses. Also because it has more moving parts and detachable, I suspect it'll have more areas of failure.
Not at all intended for that purpose. You would need a trimmer, like a Manscaped or a Philips Norelco OneBlade.
I got the blue one recently, and quite like the build quality. Unfortunately it's been my typical experience with electric razors where a lot of hairs are skipped entirely and my neck is left irritated even with only a few passes.

Keep in mind that everyone's experience will be different: I took this picture of my neck today funnily enough immediately after using this shaver and unfortunately it's full of bumps and not super close with a fair number (5-6 up and down) of passes.

As much as I wanted to like this since I'm starting not to enjoy wet shaving as much and would rather move on with my day, every electric razor has been the same story for me. I posted a Panasonic Arc5 deal at $69 a few weeks ago and even cancelled that since I knew my experience would probably be like this with that shaver as well.

I've been using the Norelco OneBlade, and it's a toss-up whether I'll nick myself or not. Been looking for an alternative that actually feels safe to use freely.

I was going to do the whole hipster bit of Safety Razor for the thread, but definitely do not use this on the balls. Or a safety razor. Or anything other than something with a friggin guide. Be careful out there

Did you mean that only use stuff that has a YouTube video guide?

I feel like a samurai master for getting good with the Merkur DE with long handle and Gillete Blue DE blades. I have a Merkur Heavy for the face that I absolutely love.

Just pull he loose bit tight and shave with the feel you developed on your face (hopefully). Literally only nicked myself once, maybe the 3rd time I tried it. I guess I was getting a little too cocky.

My gf uses a Merkur long handle too. She loves it after getting the knack for it.

Page 25 "nickel metal hydride". Amazon descriptions aren't always the most accurate with battery types on electronics.

To be honest, I recommend just getting a female refillable razor. Gets close, smooth and never had an accident.

This is a Made in China model (though I do see marketing for the blades as being Made in Japan).

Good luck!
