Nowhere near a medium roast. It's a dark roast and the beans are typically oily. IMO, the coffee tastes good, but beware if you use a grinder that is intolerant of oily beans.

Be careful and don't go fishing for the other flavor and accidentally buy the 22oz.
This one is 2.2 pounds but it's easy to click around and buy the small bag.

This is my favorite coffee. As espresso it makes great milk drinks. I got one bag of greasy beans a couple of months back, the later ones were fine. The extracted coffee itself has been consistent though. Generally these have a roast date 2 months prior.

I have been buying ground coffee for many years. Just pour them into a $10 drip machine and coffie is ready after 5 minutes. How is this different from ground coffee?
