From May 5 to May 11, Shokz [shokz.com] is running a Mother's Day Sale. Seems to be free shipping (we won't know until the sale actually starts).
  • OpenMove (grey / white / blue / pink) (standard only) for $54.95 (30% off $79.95)
  • OpenRun (black / blue / grey / red) (standard / mini) for $99.95 (20% off $129.95)
  • OpenRun Pro 2 (black / orange / silver) (standard / mini) for $139.95 (20% off $179.95)

Note that not all combinations of colors and sizes (and magnetic / USB-c for OpenRun) are eligible for the sale price.

Since OpenRun's regular price at Costco is $100, that's probably not a deal.
I've recently been thinking of buying my first Shokz, so I'm personally leaning on OpenMove for $55. Anyone want to convince me to wait for a better deal for OpenRun (instead of OpenMove)?

I have passively been interested in Shokz. Passively because I use an iPhone and AirPods Pro 2s that integrate really well with the "H" chip.

Anyway, I found this comparison review of the Shokz OpenMove and OpenRun. It seem legit, not some AI aggregated click article. There's a table with a quick comparison.

As a Costco member I will probably grab the OpenRun for the return policy, better build, slightly better battery and quick charge feature. I'm not an audiophile so I'm not sure I can tell the difference in sound quality. I wonder where the improves sound quality comes from in bone conduction sound? Like I understand better components or open designs in conventional headphones/buds. Is it primarily better conductive materials?

I will say at home I prefer my Koss on ear headphones like the Porta Pro to any in ear buds (AirPods included).

How do these work with sunglasses?

I got the ones from Costco. I do like them, the sound as expected was a downgrade from my jabras, but the tradeoff is being more aware of my surroundings when I don't want noise cancellation.

I will say that I wore them for a couple hours, and afterwards, I had a weird sensation for a while.

Almost like I could still feel a tickling vibration where the sound comes out of.

That's the only time I wore them for such a long time

I have the open move. I think they are great for listening to my tablet making phone calls and listening to podcast but for music I think it's lacking. I can wear my glasses with them comfortably and ride my bicycle around and have great situational awareness, but like I say for music, not so great.

I have the OpenRun Pro (v1). They are my favorite running headphones. Is the sound amazing? No. Is it the best combination of quality, comfort, durability, and safety (open ear design) I have personally found? Yup!Is this the best price yet on OpenRun Pro 2? I am interested!

just ordered OpenRun Pro 2 today for 155 shipped, they gave me a 20% code by asking.

also gave me a 10% off open dot one code, ordered both to try both out, and return both or the one I dont like.

im not thrilled around the thing around the neck, so if the opendots work great on runs etc, will keep that. I have Powerbeats pro etc, but I dont want ear things in my ear, I want air into my ear. the open run 2 definitely keeps ears open for breathing/cooling. im not sure if the open dots allow much airflow or if it plugs your ear like standard in ear headphones. will find out!

Re: sunglasses
The short answer is yes, they work with them. I use them for mountain biking and usually wear glasses and helmet at a minimum. In colder weather, I sometimes have ear warmers on as well, and that's when it gets to be a bit too much. But with just sunglasses, you are totally fine and easy to remove and put glasses back on while the Shokz stay on.
