I'd day yes if you have a Samsung TV because of q symphony where the TV speakers fire along side the bar which makes the sound better IMO

I have a Q600A with rears and modified the subwoofer to feed into Monoprice 12". Missing Atmos of better bars, but blows the subwoofers out of the water which is far more impactful... and it was a $150 sub.

How does this compare to the Q6CC on sale at Sam's Club for $179?

EDIT: The primary difference seems to be the Q600C has the 2 upfiring speakers for Atmos, though the ratings on RTINGS aren't exactly inspiring. Q600C also supports DTX:X and DTS-HD MA.

Always check Best Buy open boxes on these, especially if you have a Best Buy outlet near by. Bought my parents this last year open box for $200 at the outlet. They had 3 available and I grabbed a near mint shape one and works well for someone that has limited room and doesn't needed a crazy setup.

You get a sub that accepts normal speaker wire (not just RCA) and you remove the woofer cone from the original sub and run wires to the new sub.

HW-Q7CB (equivalent of the Q700) has been $200 at costco a few times over the last couple of years. Not sure if that pricing is possible any more.
