A lot of vacancy expected in the summer due to poor international travel. So, I would vouch some more deals for 2025

The retail prices are insane in Kansas City - who is paying $449 a night retail for a basic room per night on a weekday? Even with the deal, the pricing is still silly expensive, about double what we have paid in the past (and would consider paying again).

With the deal, a basic room was $189, not including a $35/nt resort fee AND a $15/nt parking fee AND taxes. Add it all up and you are over $260/nt.

For anyone who has not been to one of these, it is basically a gigantic tourist trap that will nickle and dime you to death. Candy stores, build a bear, mini golf and silly quests are all an extra (ridiculously high) cost. The whole place is geared to make your kids beg you to do the next wildly overpriced activity.

That is how companies make money. Or they lose money and die.

It's private equity owned by Apollo. They nickel and dime you to death here. Last time I was there, the tube lifts was broken so we had to carry up our 4 person tube all day. Brutal place.
