Has worked well for me so far. Doesn't fit in the dock anymore though.
If you look at the pics someone managed to do it by pulling the section that swivels up and down all the way up. Haven't figured out how to do that yet unless I break the hinge but I just have it in the closet for now. Works best with the 4AH batteries and up. 1.5 works on low setting on the vacuum for about 15-20 minutes but doesn't work on max suction. 4AH and up works with max suction.
Not sure it would work for this purpose. It did a good job lighting up a dark night when we had a trunk or treat type event. I was impressed with the output.
