Also, with tariffs looming and the uncertainty around it, all historical prices are likely never going to happen again. There is basically no point in saying "it was at this price 3 months ago" -- 3 months ago was in in a different age.
And you're wrong. We're seeing m4 prices hit an all time low these days compared to a month ago. So coming up with the tariff excuse is more or less moot, or not applicable on everything. Also, $1399 was not just once but multiple times and buying a relatively old configuration for more than that is not really smart.
