Great deal either way but I'm seeing a 2.0Ah battery, not 2.5. Is it a typo or is there a way to get the better option for this price?

You are correct. 2.0 Ah.

Unless you have a tiny place, I don't think a 2.0 or 2.5Ah battery is enough for these leaf blowers. I get so much longer running from my 4.0 batteries with mine, seemingly more than double.

This is the weaker 500cfm model not the 700. I don't know how these numbers translate to real world usage but I have the kobalt 80v which is 630cfm and I never felt it was underpowered

Do you recall how much you paid? I need a smallish leaf blower for my small 10 x 13ft deck, but if there is a chance a better deal may pop up this year, I can hold off

This would be a good deal for that situation as you likely don't need the higher cfm blowing off deck boards

I recall a costco deal that also included a 4Ah battery but was $100 more. Wondering if the blower is same in case anyone knows

This blower is 500cfm, which is one of their weaker 80v models. That Costco deal was a more powerful model. I think it was 700-800cfm.

I agree with the other poster. For just your deck, this would do it. Personally, I'd fine something in a battery ecosystem that you're already invested in and go with that. But this would be good.

I have this same exact model, bought 7 years ago, still runs very good. It was the most powerful when I bought it but then they came up with newer models with with up to 800cfm or something.

Coming back to your question, yes this unit with 2Ah battery is more than enough for your deck.

As others have said, this should be plenty for your deck.

However, if you plan on getting an electric lawn mower, string trimmer, or snowblower in the future the 800 cfm blower at Costco for $230 is a great deal because it comes with a 4 ah battery and that's not much more than the price of a 4 ah battery on its own.

The biggest drawbacks on electric mowers is needing more than one battery to finish a yard and the cost of the batteries.

I have a tiny place, and one 2Ah battery will mow 3000 sqft on a single charge. I typically weed whack, mow, and blow all on one 2Ah battery (but I have 3x 2Ah and 1x 4Ah). You'll get the same runtime out of the blower (maybe 2000-2500 sqft on one battery). I just did my neighbor's yard and mine this week because he's out of town. People think 2Ah and forget you're multiplying that by 80 volts.

I have 3x 2.5Ah and 4x 4.0 Ah batteries. I have a few 80v tools, including a 2-stage snow blower. My comments are based on experience. I get more than double the battery life with the 4.0 batteries compared to the 2.5 batteries.

But if you have a small place, then this might be perfect for you! I'm not sure I'd invest in this battery ecosystem for a small place. But if you have reason to be in this ecosystem and have a smash place, this is a petty good deal. These batteries are NOT cheap!

I have ~300ft of sidewalk and a full acre, half wooded, in a suburban area, so I've gotta do all the things - chainsaws, mow, trim, edge, leaf blow, and snow blow. My Fitbit knows which days I'm doing yard work!
