It's considered superior by a lot of folks because it's the smallest/lightest. If you're in a big shop the higher speed of the more expensive models may make a difference, but the torque is mostly irrelevant.

These are two of my most used tools. I wouldn't hesitate to pick these up if you do stuff around the house or on your cars.

If the ratchet is as bad as some reviews indicate, I might as well buy the other deal and return it. Then the impact driver is cheap.
