I got one of these the last time that it was on sale. I like it very much. It has a timer that turns off after 30,60, or 90 minutes, or you can have it say on continually. Being so small, the battery is not huge, but you can leave it plugged into a charger all night no problem.

Some of the sounds are silly (lullaby music, a woman saying "Shhhh" repeatedly), but my absolute favorite is the rainfall sounds.

It is great for helping to drown out ambient noise, and it is TINY.

Bought one a few months ago. The dog liked it so much, she destroyed it after the second day it was in use.

In for another one to put on a higher shelf.

In for one. FYI to those for whom it's good enough, however: iPhones (and probably others) have a built in background noise function with a bunch of different voices. Settings -> Accessibility -> Audio/Visual -> Background Sounds.

I was not aware. I am using this device, and I am happy with it. I wont need to carry with me for travel now.

nice device. I got one and like the sounds and the volume.

I got smartphones but rather not run down the battery on my smartphone. Some of the sounds bring up childhood memories ... interesting experience.

I have ambient sounds on p.c. and echo shows/dots, etc... but I am impressed with this device.

I bought this last round not impressed. Not loud enough to drown out anything.

Don't knock that shushing sound! It's the only thing that gets my baby to sleep!!
