Just wanted to share my experience with TorGuard VPN. I was on an automatic renewal and did not realize it until 9 days past the renewal date. I requested a cancelation but they told me:
" Hello - it looks like you requested a refund 9 days after the renewal which I'm afraid is too late. "

" ... Also, since we have a no-logging policy, we are unable to determine/confirm usage on the account.
For these reasons, I'm afraid a refund is still not possible."
I'm just one customer but if I could sway anyone from giving TorGuard VPN business then I would consider it a win.

This is not about a win or loss. Regarding this issue , you need to read the refund policy and it clearly state that you can get a refund within 7 days of purchase and Renewal charges are also not refundable. here is the screenshot of refund policy https://prnt.sc/Mz0-qThwHHVe

If you only want the VPN router, its VPN speeds are slow. But you can get the GL-MT2500 Brume 2 for $55 (plastic case) or $67 (aluminum case). You can flash vanilla openwrt on it.

While this is true, the print does say typically and was hopeful they would work with me.

They normally notify customers 2 weeks prior to renewal date.

You can use any supported router with VPN service. They are also offering different routers in cart. If you want to exchange it then you can submit a ticket and let them know about it. Support team will generate difference amount invoice for you.

While that may be true, what would have been the harm?

At any rate, I won't distract anymore from this thread.
