Just an FYI, very poor customer service. Good luck if you have issues unlocking your phone or need to speak to customer service - they'll hang up on you or end the online chat after you've waited in queue for an hour or so.

Not the case for me at all, automatically unlocked after exactly 60 days

Only deterrent is 3rd party id verification via selfie and DL/id upload being mandatory.

Wow, exactly experience right now. TW seems to have screwed up the port in and activated then deactivated and activated again. On my account it now looks like zero usage. On my end, I made several test calls and send a couple of txt and everything looked fine.
Now, >65 days later they refuse to unlock. The CR first claiming I didn't activate the phone then claiming I switched phones. When I started to argue against it the CR switched immediately to full offense and basically started yelling at me and hung up.

Even with the higher required plans for the Verizon deal, that one is better since you don't have to port in and no identify requirements. At least for me - I needed a new number and didn't want to deal with any port in deals.

Yep. I've had both a phone rep and a online rep hang up/end a chat with me. The online chat was basically after 30 seconds after the rep had a chance to read my issue that I had sent while waiting for a rep to join the chat. They responded with a couple stock replies asking for info (which I had already given) then they left the chat.
