I have similar ones, not this one from PO. I am pretty sure it is non-woven. Plastic might cost even more.

It does the job. Nothing fancy, function well and hold up against nature so far after two years.
I don't know anything about this product, but I thought it was funny.

It says "nonwoven" but I agree it looks like plastic or rubber in the pictures.

I noticed that too. Doesn't make sense to word it like that.

I am guessing they mean those plastic domes, useful for outdoor growing when the plant is still young to protect from temperature shocks

Hey all, I have several different sizes of these and like them. They are like a thick synthetic fabric type material. They work great for my needs. I plan to buy these as well as they are bigger than the ones I already have (thanks op). I wrap them in cheap burlap because I think it looks a little nicer/natural.

They're a breathable fabric. I don't have this one but use similar (but better, thicker) ones for cannabis grows
Edit - the point of grow bags like this is to be breathable to allow for air printing of roots and stop them from becoming root bound

I find that shading them is a good move to stop the sun from heating up the black fabric and just baking all the moisture out too quickly. I just pin old white tees and cloth on the side that faces the sun.

For that thickness, I always double bag them.
