Wow, still doing rebates in 2025. A hefty one at that.

Yeah, honestly not worth the risk of them not paying out.

Don't buy this. Newegg/MSI rebates get discarded. I'm still waiting after 5 months. Nowhere to complain.

Maybe if you don't have a premium credit card. I'd put this on the Plat and worst case get $300 back from Return Protection (still keeping the device).

Specs wise this is a GREAT price to specs ratio. Personally I think MSI laptops, especially the lower end ones made with lots of plastic are trash BUT if you aren't anti MSI laptops like me, this is hard to beat.

No USB-4? Just basic USB 3.2 Gen1 w/ DisplayPort. Bad candidate for use with a dock.

Had a similar machine with a 3060. As others said the build quality is light weight but plastic. Ports are usually limited so make sure you can get more than one monitor out. Also the 3060 was quiet, but lower wattage. The biggest deal breaker is they skimp on the monitor quality. High refresh but pale coloration. Overall solid C+

That got me curious, what card you got brother and what protection does it offer?

yes if they only have a better plastic, then their screen hinges would not snap off on all 4 of the MSI's I've owned throughout the years.

Yup, had that happen to me. Hell the keyboard tray was metal, still just the worst built gaming laptop I've ever had as far as the quality of the build itself.
