I'm annoyed by Smith & Wesson is putting "M&P Bodyguard" on pretty much anything lately.

I get it. The M&P line of pistols was well-received. Then the rifles were OK, if pricey.

Now the M&P Bodyguard 2.0 is a bestseller concealed carry pistol.

They're getting carried away.

This knife is not of similar quality.

Next week they'll have M&P Bodyguard underwear.

The vast majority S&W knives have been nothing more than licensed lower-end knifes for many years now.

Even for low-end knives, there are much better options.

I can't speak to this knife specifically, but I have a S&W branded knife I got as a Christmas gift about 6 years ago and keep it in my work bag. It's got a smooth flip/feel action to it and has remained sharp (arguably too sharp) when I needed it (albeit, which isn't much). Might be one of my favorite gifts (got it from one of "those guys" who gifts everyone a knife every Christmas for no dang reason).
