How does this compare to the Hisense 75" 75U75N Model that has been in the $850 to $900 range at Costco for several months (https://www.costco.com/hisense-75...739.html)?

The Hisense U7N (75U75N) outperforms the Hisense QD7N (75QD7N) QLED in most aspects, according to RTINGS.com. Both TVs feature HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on two ports, supporting 4k @ 144Hz with VRR, making them suitable for gaming. However, the U7N delivers superior picture quality across various scenarios.

• Brightness and Reflection Handling: The U7N is significantly brighter in both SDR and HDR, making it better at overcoming glare in bright rooms. It also has better reflection handling, ensuring clearer visuals in well-lit environments.

• HDR Performance: The U7N offers a wider color gamut, better color volume, and more accurate PQ EOTF tracking, resulting in a more vibrant and impactful HDR experience.

• Contrast and Black Levels: The U7N has much better black levels due to its effective local dimming, making it ideal for dark-room viewing, while the QD7N struggles with poor contrast, causing blacks to appear gray.

• Additional Features: The U7N includes a 40W 2.1 channel speaker system, compared to the QD7N's 20W 2.0 system, potentially offering better audio. Both run Google TV with similar smart features.

Def not imho. I have used both and while FireOS isn't bad - it will have some app limitations that might frustrate you.

Rtings has not reviewed this 2025 Hisense QD7QF yet. Your Rtings comparison references the 2024 version QD7N (QLED, Direct-Lit, No Local Dimming). The 2025 model in this thread has QLED, Mini-Led, and Local Dimming. The U7N is still better (a tier above), but may not be worth the $200 - $250 premium for some folks.

Thanks for the reply, never had a TV with FireOS, only Fire TV sticks and currently I have a Roku TV and I like it better, it's simple for the wife and she likes it too.

You should add some of the other sizes to the post too unless you posted them separately. The 55" @ $380 seems like an incredible value if it has similar specs overall.

Thank you for the information. I purchased 2 of the 75U75N TVs a couple months ago from Costco for $750 and am happy with them so far.

I thought the consensus based on what everybody was saying was that prices were going to go up due to the tariffs, but it appears the opposite has happened and prices are going down. Seems like China capitulated a bit in the trade war.

The smaller sizes (65" and lower) do have decent pricing, but since they're 60Hz panels (ok for viewing content / casual gaming), they wouldn't be the best for more serious gamers.
