I bought the medium sized ones thinking how great it is to have cutting boards for different meats/vegetables, etc, and Joseph and Joseph have well designed products. It could just be me but I hate them - the groove where the edges are higher than the rest of the board make it hard for you to use your knife effectively as they get caught on the edge first as you bring your knife down. I now understand why most cutting boards have a "moat" to catch juices.

Also, the legs aren't sturdy - it makes a large enough gap that it feels like when you cut, the middle of the board is going to bow. I think the boards themselves are too thin and the legs too small. Might be different with the large boards but my experience with the medium sized ones makes me want to avoid this set as well.
