I used to drink Alani Nu (good flavors) but recently read a medical study about erythritol and its effects on the cardiovascular system and the brain. No thanks, not worth the risk. Alani Nu and Celcius both contain it. Multiple others do not -- Reign, Zoa, Ghost. Read here and decide for yourself: https://www.physiology.org/detail...alth?SSO=Y. There's an earlier study from 2023 and another in 2024 done at the Cleveland Clinic that also found negative effects of erythritol: https://newsroom.clevelandclinic....cular-risk.

Thanks for this. I also read something about harmful effects in taurine. Wondering your thoughts on that?

There's only one study that came out that linked taurine to leukemia growth, but it was a limited one not conducted with human subjects. Since taurine has other studies suggesting it's beneficial to health (it is an amino acid), I'd say there's no definitive proof that it's harmful.
