Agreed, looks way to big.

Not endorsing this one in particular, but if someone wants something that's actually portable that serves the same purpose, I bought this one [a.co] two years ago for about $15. I've used it on several different style planes, and I think as long as the "rings" are ovals instead of circles you can use the tray table lock to hold your phone under the in-flight-entertainment screen.
