Can you show some articles? All I've been able to find on ashwagandha is that it's mildly effective, if it works at all. Seems most complaints are that it's weak or does nothing (that was my experience trying it years ago).

Couldn't find much on aide effects myself. Chatgpt says;

Long-term use of ashwagandha supplements may offer benefits like reduced stress, improved sleep, and enhanced cognitive function, but potential risks include gastrointestinal upset, changes in thyroid hormone levels, and possible liver toxicity in rare cases—especially with high doses or poor-quality products.

Well doesn't that seem worth the risk for something that has a low chance that you might notice it works a tiny bit lol

I have recently found something that seems to help with anxiety, it's on a site called 3chi. They have gummies on that site called True Strains > Comfortably Numb. Cost is about $2.00 a gummy but I have found just 1/8 gummy does the trick so that's about $0.25 a dose. This is something that comes from hemp. In my state pot is not legal so maybe it's legal everywhere but I would think the site would not ship to you if it wasn't, not sure about that part though.

I suppose if you take large long term doses of THC life just doesn't matter anymore

This isn't a high dose. A high dose is around 1200 mg, and some people take a lot more than that. ANY medical treatment comes with risks.

I'd use it like a medicine, i.e as needed, not as a supplement. I definitely had withdrawal symptoms once I stopped taking them.

Yet many consume fatty foods, sugars and alcohol in abundance…..liver damage is really bad.

Seeing concerns about ashwagandha causing liver or thyroid issues, just wanna say that adaptogens and hormone-impacting supplements should be cycled. That includes things like ashwagandha, rhodiola, tongkat ali, and even high-dose vitamin D. Your body adapts. Cycling helps avoid over-dependence and reduces stress on organs. Everything has a threshold, so just respect it and rotate it. Just remember the old saying, too much of anything is bad for ya.
