I paid $40 for this in 2018, and it's held up perfectly in my garage through the hot Austin summers and cold winters. Assuming quality is the same, this is a great deal. Tempted to pick one up as a backup just in case. TU, OP.

I've never had any of these "atomic clocks" work properly.

Apparently they use some sort of once-a-day AM signal to set the time, but pffst...never had that work right once. I've had to set each and every one of them manually. You'd think that'd be enough, since even my inky-dinky digital Casio $15 watch can handle daylight savings time changes if you set the time zone and whatnot.

NOPE. You still have to manually change the clock back/forward an hour. Even after it having "aToMiC" auto-time setting and enough computational power to retain a calendar.

Huh, I had the same experience with these "atomic clock". It used to work well but seems like the signal is gone for the last few years where I am. I had thought it's just my clock but it seem now to be a wider problem.

I love this brand and had a few of their atomic wall clocks. Works super well. I might get one for my mom.

I also purchased one of these years ago. I have had to reset mine too. These are really radio clocks that get the signal from Colorado. I remember seeing a map showing dead areas in the US that could not receive the signal.

Get a smart clock like Lenovo. It connects to the internet and sync time, date and outside temperature automatically even after the electricity goes out and comes back on.
