I placed an order, but looked at it carefully hours later and realized that it doesn't come with the battery and charger

I didn't think I had a battery for this, but I just realized when I bought this $30 pressure washer deal about half a year ago that I actually did—a 24V 4Ah. So I'm in for one, thanks OP.

I also discovered that Greenworks 24V batteries have a somewhat hidden USB charging port [bbystatic.com] during my half-ars research on the trimmer. Pretty useful info, IMO. It could come in handy during emergencies when the power goes out at least...

I took the larger 4ah battery out of that deal and sold it with a smaller 2ah battery that came with a drill driver impact tool combo. That charge port on the 4amp battery is pretty cool, I had no clue that was possible. Sold that pressure washer for $40 and got a small battery upgrade. Nice to have the larger battery available.

Looks sold out. My trimmer locked up and can't get it back running. Would've been a good deal.
