We have tried this model and three other brands. I strongly recommend the Moen EB2000. We have two of them and the only thing we don't like is the price.

I was fortunate that the light switch in the master bath is just behind the toilet so adding the outlet was an hour of work. The other bathrooms....not so much; just as you implied. Mad

Decent price. Wish it had a remote though. Also what is the water pressure compared to other models?

Yes. But only because we remodeled our bathroom so I made sure we planned for the future.

There is an outlet near each toilet in all of my bathrooms because they all have electric bidets. Same for my daughter's house and my son's house.

If there wasn't already an outlet, I installed one. There's nothing as comforting as a heated toilet seat on a cold winter morning.

Use of paper has been reduced with the use of the bidet, but not eliminated. Seems that females still prefer to dry after peeing.
