Wish Best Buy had these on deal. The annoying power button on this unit is a pain.

These prices amaze me. I bought two 14TB WD EasyStore from Best Buy on BF 2020 for $189.99 before tax. Almost 5 years ago!

You don't have to use the power button.

If there is a power loss you need to manually press it to turn it on again.

When you reboot , you have to turn on the power button again , I think there is a link to a reddit thread discussing it

Mandatory soft power button is making Seagate EXOS look a lot better.

Wow that's a deal breaker for me. I use SLONFF S31 to turn on my drivers.

I added that link seems like mods removed it?

Well just searching WD elements vs easystore reddit will take you there as first link

Excellent troll sir. When searching I also found suggestions for the best blinker fluid for my Tahoe.

The warranty is kinda trash on these, no? Three years? Go hard drive offers five years on refurbished drives and 200$ gets you 20tb

Interesting. I don't remember ever having to use the button on mine. Maybe they changed it.

Yeah, I paid $200 for a 18TB Easystore in late 2023. HDD prices usually go down over time not up!
