The earliest domestic flights depart Malé for the resort at 7.30am. The latest domestic flights depart for Malé at 7:45pm.

The minibar is refilled once daily on request, additional refills are chargeable.

The underwater champagne and canapes Aqua Villa experience (select packages only) is redeemable for two hours, this is not an overnight experience. Advance bookings are required upon arrival to the resort with the in villa dining team.
The included spa and excursion credits (select packages) must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Bookings are required for spa, activities and excursions and some experiences are subject to availability and weather conditions.
Non-motorised water sports include stand-up paddleboards and kayaks only.
Roundtrip domestic flight and speedboat transfers to and from Malé:
Arrival: The earliest domestic flights depart Malé for the resort at 7:30am.
Departure: The latest domestic flights depart for Malé at 7:45pm.
The resort is located approximately a 55-minute flight and 15-minute speedboat from Malé International Airport (MLE).
A complimentary flight takes you to Kooddoo Airport (GKK) (and back on departure).
From here, a 15-minute speedboat trip brings you directly to the resort (and back on departure).
Please provide international flight details to the resort at least 14 days before arrival to ensure that transfers can be arranged.
Domestic transfers are arranged to meet international flight arrivals, but occasionally a small wait in the arrivals lounge may be required.

This is exactly what some people want.
Unplug and just enjoy the ocean. If you're into Watersports, diving, or snorkeling even better. I've been on several vacations like this and love it. Last thing I want to do is hang around a bunch of drunk tourists on my vacation. I can do that at home 😅.

Tampa is ghetto. I would say try the outer banks in NC. History and actual things to do.
Tampa is crowded, so can't really compare with Maldives. But imho there are similar "solitary" options in Caribbean where you don't have to spend 20+ hrs on the plane.
