The game abruptly ends at the modern era, with plans to sell people the rest of the game as DLC, later (there are other problems, but you can look those up). This is the first Civilization game I refuse to support.

I've played every Civ game since the original came out. I've been enjoying VII a lot. I know some people prefer IV or V but VI has been my favorite version. I think VII is better in several ways and should be (again in my opinion) the best of them once issues are fixed.

Played since the original as well. 4 is my absolute favorite, still play it all the time.

Wow thanks I just picked up a switch2 for the kids and thought I'd get civ7 for the fun of it. I played Civ1-3 religiously and would have been disappointed at what you just said.
