CCC says this has been around $65 for basically the past year, as the prices of the other colors would seem to support. Still, a 25% ish discount!
CIVIVI's are on sale now, also. Excellent knives!

Ozark Trail or Kershaw? Decisions, decisions..
I laugh, but to be honest I've been using that ozark trail knife (other slickdeal) as my daily carry since I got it. Feels so freeing not to care if I lose it

Bummer. I cannot say I have put them through any hard use.

Lots of knives. Lots of rotation.

To be fair I also go through at least one or two torsion bars on my Kershaw leek every year. But they just mail you new ones when you ask. I might grab some springs off Amazon and see of they hold up better. Other than that it is hard to criticize it for $10.

This is 100% of 60 to $65 knife, not $100 ever on D2 models...
That appears to be true from what I see on CCC yet I still think this a great deal. You can not ignore that it is the red version. They are right now selling for near $100 on the Ebay market. I see no other merchants with this color and they may be the last of a production run. If these go out of production it will be a very valuable knife and bring maybe $200 to $300 dollars in the aftermarket.

I know what I am talking about as I have over many years managed to grab the less produced colors of many Kershaw models at cut rates on Amazon and a rare color adds tremendous value. In fact I have not seen many Kershaw deals that interest me this one greatly interests me and I am in. I would recommend to buy two and put one away and you will get a great return on your purchase.

I like Kershaw but there are many brands you may not have heard of that make very nice knives. We are living in a golden age of knife manufacturing and I recommend to not l limit yourself.

I haven't carried a spear point for EDC as they don't seem that useful. I find few uses for the tip geometry and the sharp curve and am afraid it will be hard to sharpen. Can anyone who has one give some feedback on the pros? I don't want to avoid it based on assumptions but wary to spend even $50 on a knife I won't use.

Kind of hard to justify the price when a civivi elementum in nitro-v can be had for $9 more.
