Who's buying this? Add another $150 for a vivobook s16 you have 365, 32gb and 16" 120hz oled. Or even wait for a $450 ultra 5 226v.

A $450 Ultra 5 226V would be nice, but many looking for a 14" laptop don't want a 16" laptop. If I was going 16", I'd go with the Zenbook S 16 (open box) which can be around $900.

Agree, also looking for a 14" for portability

Well, the Vivobook is not touchscreen. And this is absolutely non-negotiable for some.
Also, it's about a half pound heavier for the Vivobook.

If you need the extra power sure, but if you value portability and battery life more this is way better at 150$ cheaper (plus many people have cc offers for Lenovo making it an even better deal). And the power difference is barely perceptible unless you do some very specific tasks (e.g. video editing) in which case you would know you need as much power as you can get. 365 is the worst of the current generation in terms of efficiency and is barely faster than the rest (ok maybe noticably compared to Intel). This on the other hand is the best of the Snapdragons in terms of battery life if memory serves. Plus I doubt many people can spot a difference between 90Hz and 120Hz and again 120Hz eats more battery.

Honestly, who's buying a windows laptop in 2025? Either you are a student or casual user with a Macbook (or Pro for the design professionals) or your company is already providing you with a Thinkpad/Latitude for corporate work.

Not people like you.

Everyone but you, who apparently has a very distorted, narrow view as to who does what.
