Nice mix with the inline connectors here. That's a shame I bought them separately recently.

Do not trust these potentially third-party knockoffs/counterfeits. This is a direct electrical connection for mains power. This is NOT something you cheap out on. Get them from a trusted distributor -- like Home Depot, Lowes, or an electrical supply house.
Now if you're getting these for a 5v hobby project with a Raspberry Pi and a 20cent fan motor to prove you can turn things on using a few lines of Python, knock yourself out.
Yes, these are "supposed" to be name-brand. And they're "probably" just as good. Maybe they're even legit. With 110v, you really want to be taking that risk? Maybe you're a maverick, who also repairs garage door springs by yourself and braid your own rappelling rope from organic vegan-free fibers.

Good catch. Wago's actual website has an authorized distributor search and 'peppy' does not show up anywhere... It seems they are not telling the truth about being one.
Edit: I emptied my cart and added it again, and the promo code applied. Thanks OP!

Agree with all of this. I'm really worried about fakes of things that cause safety issues.
One thing gives me a little bit of hope about this company is they aren't fly by night. I tracked down their address and Google Streetview there is a building with their logo on it updated June 2024. According to the state of Tennessee they have been in business since 2016.
I searched around and it seems there's lots of people that have purchased from this company and it seems to be identical to any other Wago product. I'd be willing to trust them.

I never mentioned anything about a retailer. I only commented that peppy claimed to be an authorized distributor and they are not.
In this case I doubt the inventory is commingled since it has "Peppy Products" on the packaging. There is also only one option for purchasing.

Yep, buy legit wagos for anything to do with house wiring.
If you do even the most simple of internet searches, you'll find scores of others with similar situations.
Sorry, they had their chance. I will NOT trust my home to them.
