$39 one-way airfares on
Southwest Airlines [southwest.com]. I found as much as I could across the US but there could be more that I simply missed. Most of these have plenty of travel dates from August - October 2025. Southwest's low fare calendar is user-friendly. If you are interested in travel deals, I encourage you to create a deal alert using the 3-letter airport code so you will be notified....especially for smaller cities I don't often post. or you can just hit that "follow serra" button.
What I found and these work both ways:
- BUR to/from LAS, RNO, SMF, OAK, SJC
- SLC to/from LAS
- LAS to/from LAX, LGB, SAN, BUR, SJC
- RNO to/from BUR, LGB
- PHX to/from ELP
- DAL to/from MAF, AUS, SAT, HOU, AMA, TUL, MSY
- STL to/from DSM, MDW, ICT, LIT, TUL
- MDW to/from GRR, DTW, PIT, SDF, MSP, BNA
- ATL to/from TPA, BNA
- MCO to/from SRQ, FLL, MIA, RSW
- BWI to/from RIC
- PIT to/from MDW
The $39 one-way airfares were unadvertised so I do not know the "book by" date and restrictions, blah, blah, blah. ICYMI, Southwest's new policy is only a personal item and a carry-on bag. There's no free checked bags for the average joe.
