Have two of these and they work great with the switch 2. Just update the firmware via a pc first.

Why is this so cheap compared to the Ultimate 2 Bluetooth, which goes for the around $60? What's the difference?

I think that's the version that works with Switch, PC, and Xbox. This is only for Switch

Doesn't have the USB dongle or charging standing. I have both, if you only need Bluetooth, this one is fine

edit: Grabbed two of these on previous sale.
Works with Switch 2 (just needs firmware update).
Works with PC via bluetooth.
Haven't tested on anything else, but assuming would work with anything else via bluetooth as well.

Does the gyro work on Steam? I assume that since this is compatible with Switch, that it can run in Switch mode, connect to the PC through Bluetooth, and the gyro will work with Steam detecting it as a Switch controller.

I just noticed another difference: the Ultimate 2C (wireless, wired, or Bluetooth) doesn't have back buttons/paddles.

The Ultimate 2 Bluetooth does have rear buttons/paddles.
