Are these screen option 60Hz? Site doesn't seem to list it, for me at least. $60 upgrade to 1600p but still no Hz listed

1482 after tax where I am with a 5070 32 gb 1 tb and 2560 screen upgrade. Seems meh, but if you don't feel like doing anything/opening up the laptop it could be an option. or $1180 with just the screen upgrade and the 5070 and adding your own drives/ram.

I am tempted, holding out for a legion though. Haven't heard much on these.

Looks like the 1080p screen is 165 hz and the 1440p screen is 240hz. Haven't confirmed it myself, but that's what the other thread lists.

its enough at this price point. plus it's upgradable. dont think you can find a deal for 5060 with 32gb near this price point. for casual 1080p gaming it's enough. it's only a 5060 after all

Thanks. Given these new ultra-low prices I was wondering if they were trying to take advantage of the new chassis and use it for everything including super budget options w/ a 60, good to know

Looked at some reviews on the cards and videos, looks to be getting 10-15% more frames per game at same settings, but is that worth almost $200 before tax compared to the occasional $699 laptop with 4060 or the better RX7700S for $720 on sale.... Thats up to you. This card looks to be almost identical performance to a 4070 mobile, if not 1% better.

Overall this is not a screaming deal but its good if you really want the newest.

The specs are incredibly meh.. but if you're on a budget I'd do more research.

Save money and stay with 1080p... You're probably going to use a big TV anyway or extra monitor

The people in this thread are absolutely out of their minds. This is a screaming deal for $920. "What about all the 4060s for 700". 1. Those are rare. 2. Their build quality is almost always MSI garbage. and 3. Their screens are basically always trash. Omen is a solidly middle of the pack build quality and at this price it's literally budget priced especially with that screen at 400 nits.

Especially since Amex blue cash has a 50/300 you can stack, and if you know where to go you can get HP GCs for 10% off. My cost on this would be 844+ tax
