One of the best, if not THE best Resident Evil game of all time. Somehow this remake was better than the original in every conceivable way.

Disagree. The remake was objectively better in every way. Your nostalgia goggles do not make it a better game. You can prefer it, but this game is just better. There is no part of the original that is actually better. If you were to find a bunch of people who never played the original, and have them try both versions, no one would choose the original.
