The only concern I have is the TGP. Micro Center's listing says the TGP is 140W. But in the Q&A section of the same listing, an HP Team response to a question states that the TGP is 45W. At 140W, this laptop is a great value. At 45W, I would personally avoid it. As of right now, I see no additional spec details for this laptop on HP.com.

if you have patience for a custom build to be made you can get way better laptops from hp.com. Omen with 5070 ti for around 1100 sometimes. Better build quality and longevity.

It is a 140W can confirm. The guy in the comment section was wrong. The 5060 is a beast for triple AAA games

Why only 2 thumbs up? This looks like a good deal if you're looking for 5060 laptop. Is it because it's from Microcenter?

Because its only about 10-15% better than a 4060 laptop so not really worth the extra $200 before tax...

I bought this laptop and it's been playing every game I throw at it with no hiccups. Dune, Cyberpunk, Red Dead 2, Elden Ring. The fans are pretty quiet at full speed which was a big plus for me. Also the keyboard does not get hot while playing games which I've experienced in other gaming laptops. The only thing I can see myself doing in the future is upgrading the ram because with a game running it sits about 75-80% on memory utilization.

You play this at max setting no lag? I'm looking to play call of duty, sc2 and Xbox PC pass games will this handle it?

No, depending on the game 5-10% less average frames to the 4070.... Then again the lowest a new laptop with a 4070 last I checked was still $1K not counting refurbs which were cheaper so $100 more.

Yes this will play anything on gamepass at 1080 very well.
