Not to dump on the deal, but -my- experience with these was horrible.
I used to use Mach 3 and liked them, but moved away to Wally's own equal brand due to cost and those were great too.

When the pandemic began I ordered Solimo sets for me, my wife and daugther, and got pretty much one of the worst blades I've ever tried. And yes, I've had to use BIC disposable ones before.

Basically dull, pulling blades. I asked my wife if theirs was as bad, and they told me they were bad, but not terrible. I suspect they may have lied as to not make me feel bad about the purchase. Long story short, we still have those blades around the bathroom. May have gotten a bad batch. I like and trust Amazon brands (I have clothes, cables, cases, bags) but these were a surprise in a negative way.
I bought these last month (they were like $17), they were the worst razor. Only worse one I would say I have used is the one from the brand bulldog. Tugged on my hairs and using the same razor a 2nd time for my next shave felt like a drag. These sucked so much, I called their phone number to say hw bad these things were and they gave me a refund with their satisfaction guarantee.

Hope the people at the homeless shelter I donated the rest too don't struggle too much with them.
I hope someone can chime in on their experience with these vs. Gillette. I want to dump Gillette, but every other cartridge I tried so far (including monthly membership clubs) were much-much worse.
Don't want to go back to a safety or a straight razor, but may have to...

The blades are one time use only and become dull. I don't recommend to buy this

I'm using these now. I've noticed no difference between these blades and other major brands.

Why did you stop with the safety razor in the first place? I started as a cartridge user, but once I switched to a safety razor, I would never want to go back.

To pile on - these are terrible, the worst cartridge razor I've used. Barely single use, and even then it's a harrowing shaving experience.

I use these to shave my head and they do ok. They're not as good as gillette but they do the job. I shave in the shower under running water so I don't have any bad experience with them. They're just not as good as Gillette as it requires multiple passes to get skin tight shaves.

The moisturizing strips are a bit thicker than they should be which causes the blades to not be as close as you'd like so you end up pushing a bit harder to get the blades closer.

For $12 it's worth a try, honestly. Everyone's skin is different so while it may seem to pull to some, to me it glides fairly effortlessly.

Maybe their manufacturing process is flawed and it's just up to the blades you get?

I'm in the same boat. I recently started shaving my head and I purchased these a month or two ago based on a friend's recommendation. They are fine for the price point, but I struggled with the feeling of the blades at first. I've used Mach 3 blades for so long that the feeling of these new blades just seemed a bit clunky (5 blades, plus the thicker moisturizing strip), but I think I've gotten over that adjustment.

Best blades ever? No. Worth giving it a shot for the price point? Go for it- you might like them.

I bought these a year ago or so and I liked them. Now I don't use Gillette so I can't compare. Also it was a year ago, may be they got worse from reading other comments. I got some anyway, thanks op.

Amazon brands can be returned for refund and I'm not shy about doing it. Why dump garbage blades on a homeless shelter, these people have plenty of trauma to deal with already.

I too agree. I bought a ton of these during a Prime day a year or two ago. I too think that they are worth trying at this price but I am ready to finish using up my refills and return to my Schick Hydro. The moisturizer strips are too large for me too. I am unable to get everything under my nose as a result. I have to use my old Schick there if I want a completely clean shave.

Got these last time, was hoping I could stop with gilette but nope. Still stuck on gilette.

Frugal: Google how to keep blades sharpen with old pair of jeans. I've been using my gilette cartridge for about 4 months now.
