Wasn't a fan of these. Not consistent, felt more cheaply made than Dorco and didn't feel like dealing with another attachment system. I've tried others as well but I end up making my way back to the below.

Lasts me a while. Id recommend making sure to dry, strop blade, etc.

PS: I really miss the old Dorco slickdeals
Anyone have first hand experience with these? Hoping for a real testimonial, or proof that Bezos shaves his head with these, then I'll bite.
The cartridges are the 5 - blade Personnas that are often re-branded for private labels, often store brands that offer them as an alternative to Fusion. My theory is that this is how the Edgewell Group (Schick, etc.) indirectly compete with Gillette. So far as quality and durability, I'd say they're half a step behind Hydro and that is in no way a deal killer.

The Motion-sphere action does make a difference, especially in transition between cheek and neck as you go over the jawbone to maintain contact at the proper angle. You won't see the cartrigde rock back and forth like a metronome though; it's a subtle movement. Gillette offer a comparable handle type for Fusion that goes by a different name, Sphereball or something like that.

Finally, this is the best price I've seen in around five years. If you're looking to try a new system or need to stock up and just want something that works and aren't a muh double edge crackpot, you can't beat this deal.

yeah they're fine. quality seems to vary out of every 10 or so. Sometimes they last 3 days and then get really rough. Sometimes they will be fine for a month of shaving. my growth is definitely on the lighter side like a johnny depp or even less.

I may be mistaken but, didn't Amazon purchase Dorco to make their 'Amazon Basics' line? I believe they kept the Dorco brand alive as well (hence the lack of Dorco SDs in the last couple of years).

I normally shave w/ safety razor (Personna) but these are my travel blades. Since I have trained my stubs to shave against the grain I find this to be perfectly adequate and I came from Mach 3 to Dorco. However the worst thing about these (IMHO) is that they are in the plastic case really good and the attachment system is past horrible, but at least doesn't break as readily as Dorco handles. When I run out of these I will go back to mach 3 as it does the job and getting the bulk packs at BJ's not that more expensive than Amazon -- relatively because the Amazon blades wear faster than Mach 3. So I would say it's personal but IF you had a choice I would go w/ Mach 3 over this because overall TCO is about the same and Mach 3 lasts longer and doesn't pull as hard in failure mode.

There's an additional 15% discount if you buy four. So you can get 64 cartridges for about $50.

I've used these for years happily. I'm not a connoisseur and don't grow much facial hair. In fact I've switched to the Amazon basics 3-blade which are even cheaper and am perfectly happy with them too.

Looks exactly like the ones I got off temu. They were horrible.

So the risk with a big package like this is that I break the handle before running through the set of blades? Hope I got it right. Thanks for the detail.

Good luck!

I bought them maybe a year ago because I shave so infrequently. They're OK I suppose. I shave my head more than anything else and I kept my Gillette 5 blade for my head cause I don't think it would handle all the weird bumps on my head.

These are awful, they are rough and cut my face after just a few uses. It's the only razor I've used that I would never buy again.

The handle is solid. The connector housing is metal and extends continuously to the end of the handle (think full tang knife). The rest of it is plastic trim and grippy rubber/silicone. If you follow the instructions and don't force anything, it will easily last through all of the refills. The handle weighs about 1 1/2 ounces, which doesn't sound like much but is >3x the weight of a disposable handle.

This product was originally marketed under the Schick brand as the Extreme5. They no longer market it under the Schick brand but rather license it. This is the same product.
