I disagree, regarding the Milwaukee bits. Specifically, these Milwaukee Shockwave impact bits. In my experience, they perform much better than similar impact bits from Dewalt. They generally have a tight fit, and good durability for the price. I've moved to purchasing this brand of driving bits exclusively.

Project Farm on Youtube did a comparison of driver bits last year, and his winner was Milwaukee Shockwave (beat out Dewalt, Bosch, Irwin, Makita, among others). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-xOHQTT5tw

Seems like a decent price for the bits, if you need all those sizes. Certainly cheaper than purchasing packs of bits individually. If you watch Home Depot for specials over the holidays you'll probably be able to find a more cost effective option if you just want the bits, and not the case too.

Never owned a Milwaukee packout case, so I can't speak to the quality there. But I'd definitely recommend the bits.
Definitely not a $100 case. Even at $50 it seems overpriced
An impact driver is not ideal for precision drilling tasks. A Drill is more precise but has less torque. Get both.

Got the packout case for $20 before. The bits I scored separately at THD for $30 during Black Friday two years ago and it included a similar array of bits as this deal.

I got one of these last year and it's great! Especially if you have other packout boxes since you can just attach this to the lid.

It's a decent deal. 50% off $100. $53 after tax. I needed a new case and I like the setup of this case.

Can folks give thoughts on impact drivers versus regular powerdrills? Is it worth upgrading?

Yes for getting more torque and mounting concrete anchors. Also for breaking lugs loose

It's the packout case with the 100-piece shockwave driver bit set included.

The case by itself when it's not on sale is $30.

This would be massively overpriced at $100. $50 seems steep.

Every power tool I own is Milwaukee, and have probably 30 packout cases.

Milwaukee bits are not great.

Impact drivers have more torque (and less control) than a drill for driving larger screws and lags, but you'd need a hammer drill for the concrete anchors and an impact wrench for automotive work.
