Personally, the square shape doesn't bother me since I'm not enamored to the shape of a normal dumbbell to begin with but I can see why it bothers some.
The Bowflex though should work better for certain exercises like behind the back triceps extensions and goblet squats, so take that into account.
All things being equal, PowerBlocks should last longer. The pair I'm using is 15 years old. If you take care of the Bowflex, they should last a long time too. I know someone else mentioned changing time and honestly, it's not that dramatic. It takes me about 2 seconds to change weights for Bowflex and 3 seconds for PowerBlocks.
The general consensus on Reddit and home gym forums are Ironmaster are the best bar none followed by NuoBells, PowerBlocks, Pepin, BaadAss, and then Bowflex.
Also keep in mind that just like the Bowflex, the PowerBlocks I linked aren't expandable. Most of their other models are and can go up to 90-120 lbs but they cost more than the ones in the deal I linked. That's also a major plus on why people love them, but I would personally still pick those PowerBlocks I linked over Bowflex having owned both brands.
Here's a pretty detailed comparison:

I don't miss em. Reg dumbbells are much easier to use.

Yes they're very hard plastic plates and not metal. With that said if you're looking for weights to crash down on the floor after several tough reps these are not for you.
The grips are comfortable without need for gloves for added texture.
The Bowflex stand (separate purchase) is advised as otherwise you'll be bending over to the floor every time you place the weights back in their container. This was a concern for me due to possibly wrenching my back in bringing them up.
