This sold out on the Lego.com site the morning it was available. The Lego site normally has a "Notify when stock" button and this is the first time I've seen this message:
The Back to the Future Time Machine has been incredibly popular. We've turned off the 'Notify When in Stock' option because we've reached the limit of subscribers. Thanks for your patience while we wait for the next shipment to arrive!
A lot of times there are abundant re-stocks but it might take several months to a year before there is easily available stock of some items like this.

If you guys what to save a couple of bucks, Zavvi has it too and you can use a contect creator code like Briq or Emma for 10% off.
Downfall is Zavvi shipping will take a bitand is a gamble but I never had any issues yet with my 7 orders.

Never had any issue with Zavvi.
I ordered the Deloran from Target and it arrived today completely destroyed (had a giant hole and completely crush). It's not even the packaging. The packaging box was completely fine so whoever put the Lego set in the box did so knowing it's damaged.
I picked this up a couple weeks on Zulily of all places, though you typically have to pay shipping regardless of how much you spend. My wife saw a limited time 15% discount code on an Instagram influencer that worked for it. So some place else you can keep an eye out for this set.

Thanks, I got one off of Zavvi with the 10% off as a product sample. I've seen Zavvi around but have never used them. Although I'm not sure if I can't trust Zavvi, I've noticed these were all sold out almost instantaneously on the actual Lego.com.
The only good thing about Walmart is that you can return it easily should you not want it for whatever reason.

I built my very first lego replica a few months ago (probe droid) and I found the entire experience very relaxing and enjoyable.
I've been waiting for something that I really wanted to buy (I really do want the Millenium Falcon set but I don't know about spending multiple hundreds of dollars lol). I see Back to the Future, I buy.

I'm really looking forward to this one. If you want it I'd go ahead and pull the trigger.
I was able to get it at a Lego store and get the forest hideout as a gift with purchase. But we don't have a real time machine to replicate the deal.
