I actually bought the MX Master 3 back in March 2022 from Staples for $65. Ended up returning it after two of them had wobbly/noisy scroll wheels. I went back to using my MX Master 2S I bought on Amazon for $40 back in July 2019.

I hope they fixed the scroll wheel issues in the 3S but I'm not going to pay $90 for the privilege. It will eventually go on sale like the previous generations.

good to know, i love my 2S and have been waiting for a good deal to get the newer model but it doesn't sound like it's worth it

I've never had a Logitech mouse that lasted more than 2 years -- usually the buttons go first, resulting in double/triple clicks. $90 for a mouse that will die in a year or two sounds like the sick dream of a psychopath, unless of course it makes coffee, services the husband while the wife is away, or writes your essays in college.

Logitech has used the same Omron switches in it's mice for decades, and they refuse to switch to something better, because more failed mice means more sales. Until everyone votes with they're money and stops buying them, they're going to keep using them. If you're handy with a soldering iron, you can fix them by replacing them with better switches, but most people aren't.

honestly i'm still using the first gen MX Master (purchased in 2017) and don't feel the need to upgrade - not for a lack of trying, i'm always tempted when the newer versions pop up on SD. been using it for work for the past 5 years, still going strong. battery life probably isn't as good as new, but still good enough for me to not care.

i've had my share of mice that exhibited double click issues (mostly razer), but this one still works great. i kinda want a reason to upgrade but it refuses to die.

Only if you want silent click. 3 is tooo loud, I can hear the click even I am wear BOSE QC45.
Very bad experience when working at night.

Now I have 3 at work and 3s at home. Very happy about it.
