They go on sale at this price fairly often. Also check the ingredients before ordering, bananas aren't the only ingredient.

I think That's pretty standard for Banana chips though. They aren't made by just dehydrating Banana slices. Under ripe bananas are sliced and deep fried to make Banana chips. So they need to add stuff to boost the flavor since under ripe bananas don't have much flavor or sweetness

Ingredients: bananas, refined coconut oil, sugar, and banana flavoring (because sometimes your bananas don't taste enough like bananas)
These are dehydrated, so 10 year shelf life as opposed to 25 year shelf life with freeze-dried. I'm sure we'll all be digging into our emergency supplies in the next 10 years so it probably doesn't matter.

They aren't dehydrated, they are fried. Banana chips are made from frying, sliced under ripe bananas. The sugar and flavor is to boost the blandness of under ripe bananas, if you start reading packages this is the norm

The package literally says "IngredientsBig Grinehydrated banana slices". It may be normal for other suppliers to fry them, but not in this case.

Fine, dehydrated then fried. 2 step process either way that's why oil is part of the ingredients, dehydrating alone would just make chewy fruit slices

Amazon description says they are baked and not fried, but it doesn't matter because the price went up. Deal is dead.

I was looking for fun snacking chips not sad doomsday prep bananas. This thread is a bummer all around.

Strawberries from them are $14, and only ingredient: Strawberries.
Mangos are the same, but more expensive.

$24.26 is the price I'm seeing at the link. Is there a coupon code to use to get the $9.98?
