I know that part Smilie Amex doesn't car the tax part. Your total should be more than $100.

Thanks for clarifying! Just to make sure I understand, I should be eligible for the Amex Dell offer as long as my total after taxes is more than $100, right?

Yes. I was able to get the confirmation of offer with NJ tax that end up around $106.

I bought it and didn't add anything to the cart. Received an email instantly that my Amex offer was used.

As an alternative you can also get the MX Master 3 business (has louder clicking on the buttons than 3s) and Dell Stereo Soundbar – AC511M for $105 - Amex $50 = $55 plus you get $25 in Dell promo gift cards. Makes these two items $30
