edit: if you still have the old digital attachment try cleaning the battery springs with isopropyl alcohol and an old toothbrush and let it dry. I had decent luck with that method.

I tried cleaning the contacts but you could clearly see where the battery acid leached in and destroyed point where the springs attatch to the PCB, I may disassemble and see if its possible to cut them back a bit and resolder if the board looks OK.
Costco for example has nitrogen air and it fill up pretty quick. I liked it a lot. The problem is that no one has Costco nearby and making a stop there or at gas station just for the air alone during this season or winter is rather inconvenient and impractical hence the appeal of this deal despite negative reviews (But it just $10!)

I have a compressor, mostly for my air nailers. It just got colder recently and my TPMS light came on. I still used the little 120V Husky to top off my tires instead of firing up the air compressor.

It also works fine for top offs on my car. Again the cords may not reach or the power may be lacking depending on the size of YOUR vehicle

It's the water vapor that can be in compressed air that's the the culprit, not the air vs nitrogen at face value
