I recently grabbed this 65 watt HTC charger for $23 and it has worked well. Compact, GAN, PPS, 3 port. Honestly might be the same charger as the Anker, but who knows.
Where do you see that the "Like New" has an 18 month warranty?
Go to the Ankerdirect selling page and it will mention that all purchases made through Ankerdirect on Amazon will have an 18th month warranty. I have also called anker to confirm this.

I don't see where they say Open Box items comes with the 18 month warranty. However, if I would get this model, I would get the newer GaNPrime for $44 New or $38 Open Box
Again, the way Anker has been going downhill with their customer service, I would wait for the GaNPrime to come down to $35-37 NEW as it has been in the past, unless you need it now.
Why all the thumbs down on these? Is it that these are used or are they catching fire for everyone else and I'm next?
I've been using one of these for a few months now and really like it, too. Not sure what complaint people might have because this is about as cheap as this has ever been.

How has anker been going downhill with their customer service? Also what makes the ganprime version different/better?
I've had zero problems with Anker service as recent as this year.
1. Open chat
2. Tell them the problem
3. They send out a replacement
Every time it has been like that.
RE GaNPrime: That version can dynamically allocate power and also has better heat regulation. I wouldn't upgrade from the regular 735, but if buying then definitely get the newer version.

I have this and I noticed that it keeps connecting/disconnecting once the phone is fully charged. Sometimes the connect/disconnect noise gets really annoying.
