Can you elaborate? Do they make the shoe tighter, wear out easy and what do you mean by not comfortable. Trying to find something for my son and that is why I ask since you have actual experience.

Almost bought but realized this particular dr scholl's is just a piece of thin foam equivalent to the ones you can buy for a buck from china

Contrary opinion: I have these and really like them in my barefoot/minimalist shoes (Joomra from Amazon). They are pretty thick, so will make the shoe tighter.

I bought these a few months ago to put into my exercise shoe because I wear out my insoles quite fast. They are very comfortable and very light. And I bought a few different insoles to try at the time and these definitely feel the most comfortable. Longevity wise they don't seem to wear out faster than others so I'm satisfied. Also I paid almost double at the time, so at $5, these are a steal.
